Summary Deborah Moreno has joined her father's band, Son del Rey, to kick off her music career. She plays bass and background vocals. The band takes English pop songs and add their own Latin flavor to them. When Moreno plays, it seems to the rest of the members that all the attention turns to her.
Summary Students show off their animals at the annual TCYS. All say that it's worth it to lose a lot of sleep to have their animals win. But it takes a lot of practice in order to have your animal be the best in show

Summary The recent release of the app Trivia Crack, has everyone at James Bowie High school addicted. There are six categories for which you can test your knowledge. Everyone says that their favorite aspect of the game is that they can go up against their friends and beat them
Summary In Austin, there is an increasing amount of wall art. Most people say it's defacing of public property. But some claim it is becoming part of Austin's culture in these days. There are many places where people stop to take pictures by the famous art, so not everyone can agree on graffiti's influence in the city.
Summary In January 1, 2015, a law was passed, preventing anyone from using electronic devices whilst using a car. Fines may even go up to $500 for using one. The only thing that puzzles citizens is if the police have made a law about using a device while at a complete stop. Many people agree on this law and will follow accordingly.

1. What is your favorite photo in the entire paper? My favorite is the one of Deborah Moreno in the recording studio
1A. Why is this your favorite? I liked the position that was captured while Moreno was recording
1B. What rules of photo composition are evident? Rule of thirds

2A. Why is this your least favorite? I just didn't really like the sort of blurriness in the picture, and that there were other people in the picture
3. If you were a photographer on staff, which event/photo assignment would you have liked to do for this issue? You will need to look through the entire paper and see the topics covered and decide which one you think would have been fun. I would've liked to do the Girl Scout cookies because I really like their cookies, and to research what types of cookies have been added to the list.
4. Overall, how would you rate the photography in this issue? What were the strong points and weak points.

The titles were pretty good, but the photography was, to be honest, not very good. They weren't clear, or followed the rules of photography. All around, the issue was so so.

Other High School Newspapers
The Sailor's Log was my favorite because I thought the layout was neat and organized. I also liked the colors too, because they weren't too bright, yet still caught my attention.
As above, the Sailor's Log caught my attention because it had a cool, unique title, and the layout was really cool.
My favorite title was the "Choir Accompanist Criminal Charges still Pending" because it made me want to know more about what had happened at that specific high school.
There were three stories on the front page of that newspaper.
Newspaper share certain similarities, some being that they usually most of the time have a very small font to fit the title and the pictures, and that the titles are usually at the top, horizontal.
Things that can be different with newspapers can be the different types or fonts of the titles. Or maybe that there can be only one big picture, maybe three or more.
These newspapers are different from the ones coming from around the world because they are most of the time are supposed to have a different style.

Front Pages of the World
Newspaper Front Covers
My favorite front cover for newspapers would be the People's Daily, from Beijing, China. I like it because the layout is neat, and the organization is really literally neat.
I can't really read Chinese, but my favorite would be the one above the picture of the Chinese president shaking hands with the Argentinian president. It kind of seems like the Argentinian president went to China for a diplomatic visit and it seemed like something to document.
There are around six stories on the front page of the head page.
What are the same in newspapers is that all of them have titles at the top of the paper. They also have at least one picture. Each one is captioned, and have descriptions to go with each one. That is what a good newspaper should have
But each one is also unique in its own style. This one is that obviously that it is in a different language, and that the arrangement is different, meaning that the titles are going vertically. As well as a difference in the size of pictures. All newspapers use different sizes for their pictures, and that depends on what they want to put for commentary.
